Project 1

Dakk Engineering have been involved in providing an oil recovery system for a food factory. The system was designed to recover and concentrate the fats, oils and greases from the factories wash down water. These oils are then recycled.
The application called for the transfer of FOG ladened media from undergrounf sump to a oil water separater tank. In order for the tank to effectively separate the FOGS the inlet media needs to be pumped with the least agitation possible. The media also could include bones and solid fats etc.
This is a perfect application for the 360-40 Eccentric peristaltic pump and a floating wier skimmer.

The self priming, high suction lift of the peristaltic pump and a floating weir skimmer are a perfect combination for sucking the FOGs up and out of a sump.

Notice the high concentration of Fats, oils and greases that get through the rotatory auger screen.

The recovered FOGs after they have passed through the pump into the oil water separator. These can now be sold for recycling
